I was surfing the internet and came upon your stallion, Missin Freckle, and
recognized him as the sire of my mare. My mare, Missin Moment, is a 1998
bay/black tobiano APHA. Her dam was owned by Asia (Whiting) Gray
of Bigfork, MT. I just wanted to say that my mare is the quietest, sweetest
thing and has cow sense and speed to burn. She is only 14 hands tall, but
is still going strong at the end of the day,
no matter what the job.
I work at a guest ranch in the summers, and she is the one I ride when  I need a horse that
will cause no trouble and do anything I ask. I bought
her and started leading rides on her immediately. The second
time I rode her,
we gathered 100 horses from the pasture and she worked perfectly and didn't get hot and excited,
even with all the running. I just thought you'd like to know
that this mare is the best horse I've ever had. She has
 lived up to my expectations
, and is extremely athletic while being levelheaded at the same time. I've taken her into
the Bob Marshall, Glacier, and all over the Swan Range and she has
handled even the most treacherous trails with
no problem. She doesn't get
excited when confronted with bears, elk, cougars, coyotes, water, rock slides, or storms.
She's been in parades and around kids, dogs, trucks, trains, etc.
with no questions asked. Her temperament is
flawless and she's extremely
correct and pretty, too. Just thought you might like to hear how one of your stallion's
foals has turned out!  Thanks! -Beth Donohue
